NYX Faux Lashes Boudoir Mascara Review
My Lash Type:
Long, on the thinner side, with a slight downward curve.
NYX Mascara Wand Review:
The NYX Faux Lashes Boudoir mascara wand is actually pretty substantial, as the length spans my whole almond-shaped eye. While that’s a plus for us doe-eyed girls, the short bristles are tightly packed together, and thus, tend to gather bunches of lashes together for a weird mono-lash effect.
NYX Mascara Formula/Consistency Review:
This ain’t no schmere-and-run mascara. NYX Faux Lashes Boudoir’s mascara formula is quite thin and liquidy, so the short and tight wand tends to carry a lot of product. After experimenting, I’ve learned that if you wiggle the wand towards the opening, it leaves a “normal” amount behind.
The Beauty Bitch’s Advice
If you want longer lashes, NYX Faux Lashes Boudoir Mascara may help in that endeavor, but be prepared to sacrifice volume and sparse-looking lashes. I, however, have to pass on this mascara.
